Adoremus for the Sanctification of the Priesthood
Time & Location
About The Event
When the priesthood is challenged, prayer is the trusted recourse the faithful have to support and strengthen them.
Far too many times the priesthood has been challenged, mocked, and ridiculed. Because we are the laity, we have a responsibility to defend the dignity of the priesthood. Many are asking how we can support our priests and deeply sense that the one within us is greater than the one in the world.
The time to gather five stones and slay a dragon is now.
The ITE Project invites all people of all ages to come and pray for the sanctification of the priesthood with us during the Christmas octave. We will have two blessed hours of interceding for our beloved priests in front of the Blessed Sacrament. We will also have confessors and prayer teams from Peter's Shadow available. For this very special Adoremus, we will also make available paper and envelopes if you feel called to write a letter of support to a priest dear to your heart. You can either leave the letters with us to mail with our stamps or you can take them with you and mail them yourself.
Coming together, praying together, writing together, and witnessing and defending the dignity of all priests is our calling for this most holy night.
Come, let us pray together. Let us unite under the banner of Christ and witness to the world who we are as Catholics.
This specific event is not limited to young adults. Please come join us!
