Obedientiam

About The Event
Obedientiam is a one-day, lenten, silent retreat for young adults (20s & 30s) based on obedience.
Every year we like to offer time and space before Holy Week to sit still and silent with our Lord. Bring a journal, a blanket, slippers - whatever you might need that will allow you to rest in Him and listen.
The schedule for the day is simple to allow for time and space for you to do what your soul and heart most need:
Arrive mid-morning - we will open the retreat with a presentation from a beloved priestly father on obedience: the willingness to abandon one's will and desires. After that, there is a large span of time to follow the promptings of the spirit whether that be silent prayer, a nap, or signing up for spiritual direction that will be offered throughout the day. In the afternoon, we will again hear from a beloved priestly father on Matthew 21: 28-31. After dinner we will conclude the retreat with Adoration, Confession and Palm Sunday Vigil Mass.
Other information:
- Retreat cost: $40 (Registration opens on March 1st)
- Lunch, Dinner and snacks will be provided.
- We are committed to keeping this an in-person retreat, but be assured that plenty of space will be provided to spread out.
